Updates to CRM Deduplication Criteria

This article includes recent updates the Seamless.AI team has made to expand deduplication capabilities for various CRMs (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).

Salesforce Object Search Language searching

  • Better company and contact email/name matching (uses nicknames)
  • Searches by name and email for Contacts/Leads at once
  • Setup ground work for using user's Duplicate Rules to aid deduplication checking

HubSpot

  • Better company and contact email/name matching (uses nicknames)

Outreach

  • Better company and contact email/name matching (uses nicknames)
  • New updated filtering syntax for Outreach used

MS Dynamics

  • Better company and contact email/name matching (uses nicknames)
  • Better usage of the API for better deduplication purposes

Other CRMs

  • Combined account/company/lead deduplication for feature
  • Fixed an issue with Salesloft contact account ID's not showing up (hidden bug)

General CRM Wide Updates

  • Improved company name matching on insurance companies (e.g. State Farm vs State Farm Insurance vs State Farm Ins.)
  • Improved performance of importing singular records
  • Improved performance of import selected
  • Improved performance of bulk importing (non Salesforce and Hubspot CRMs)
  • Improved error handling on contact imports
  • Overall major simplification of importing code/logic for contacts - single imports/import selected/bulk importing non-Salesforce and non-Hubspot CRMs
