Understanding Email Validation
Seamless.AI collects professional contact information from multiple sources of data throughout the web, gathering hundreds of data points related to contacts and companies.
Seamless.AI provides two types of emails to help users connect with prospects effectively:
- Company Email – The general company email associated with the contact.
- Contact Email – The direct email of the contact.
Users can filter email types in the My Contacts tab by clicking the funnel icon, allowing them to focus on either Company Emails, Contact Emails, or both based on their outreach strategy.
As emails are identified and added to contact profiles, our AI runs them through a validation process. Based on results of the validation process, each email is assigned a Email AI category:
Valid: Safe for sending. Email is validated as the correct email for this contact.
Accept All: Safe for sending, pending total AI score. Email is validated to accept emails for any email address at this domain, but can't be completely verified to be the exact email for that contact.
Unknown: Send with care. Email can't be validated at this time. We will continue to check for a validation response over the following 25 hours after the contact is found within Seamless.AI.
Invalid: Do not send. Email has been invalidated, so we would not recommend sending to this contact and it will most likely provide a bounce-back.
Do Not Mail: These Emails have been identified as a "Do not Contact" email or a suppressed status meaning that the users should be contacted at your own risk.

Understanding Phone Scores
Phone numbers are marked with a check based on a number of factors, including count, recency and source of the data available for that contact and that specific data point.
